XKMPH INDIA ORGANIZES MOTO WORKSHOP AT SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 23^rd May, 2016: XKMPH India, a pan-India motorcycle community organized a “Know Your Ride” moto workshop for motorcyclists at Bike Planet, Siliguri. Motorcyclists like to venture out into the unknown and the biggest fear that looms on their minds is the fear of a technical snag in the middle of ‘nowhere’. Even within city limits, most roadside mechanics don’t have a complete knowledge of the engineering of the machines. Thus in cases, a repair job are a guess work by mechanics and an ignorant biker may suffer in the long run of a poorly maintained machine.

Mr. Alok Sharma, The event coordinator said: “The participants were really happy that a workshop related to motorcycle maintenance has been conducted in Siliguri and they are looking forward to workshops of the type in future”. Thus, informative session like today’s where participants are taught basic emergency repairs of their respective vehicles become very necessary. The chief instructor, owner of Bike Planet and also a member of XKMPH, Mr. Souvik Sengupta explained and demonstrated various repair jobs and also corrected few misconceptions about two wheeler specifications. Mr. Santanu Banerjee, Chief Convener of XKMPH.com said “we will be organizing more of such workshops in future for more knowledge of enthusiast motorcyclists. He added, “Apart from that we are planning to organize a basic first aid workshop that wills emphasis on various emergencies that a rider may face during a road trip”.
